Serenity

'Serenity' is an exclusive development of sixteen executive apartments, two penthouses and one duplex apartment. The development was constructed by McGoff & Byrne Ltd. and is the product of repeat business with local bespoke developer, Villafont Homes.

The four-storey apartment block was constructed using traditional construction methods and materials; traditional foundations, brick & block structure, slate roof, and timber windows. In addition, specialist bespoke joinery in oak was utilised. The traditional building work is complemented by cutting edge contemporary fittings and interior design, which have raised the appeal of the development above that of the local competition. 'Juliet' balconies are guarded by tailor-made stainless steel and glass balustrades, which further compliment the contemporary feel of what is essentially a very traditional looking building.

The development was constructed in two phases in accordance with Villafont's requirements. The first phase becoming fully occupied whilst maintaining access at all times throughout the construction of the second phase. Besides its obligations to Villafont Homes, as the client, McGoff & Byrne also worked closely with Villafont's home-buyers to ensure that their new homes would be everything they wanted them to be, accommodating design changes and material changes, etc, along the way.

Providing samples for a customer living in Spain, discussing kitchen and tile choices and offering advice on layouts and practicality was just as an important role in the development as any other, as this ensured the final client was happy, which, in turn, meant Villafont Homes were equally satisfied.
