Croma is a fast growing chain of gourmet pizzeria restaurants located in the North of England and the US. The most recent addition to the pizzeria family, Croma Prestwich was opened by our clients Goda Ltd in October 2007 and occupies one of the most prominent units within the £30m mixed-use Radius development.
The Prestwich pizzeria, was the first new build occupancy for Goda Ltd, providing a blank canvas for their ambitious design ideas.
Already benefitting from floor to ceiling windows to the full length of one side of the room, the restaurant is split level with a stunning spiral staircase taking diners up to the mezzanine level. The 4,000 sq ft restaurant includes design features such as wood, glass, chrome and bronzed mirrors which fit in with the theme and lend this restaurant an amazingly bright and spacious feel.
The double height building, includes a special luxalon wooden ceiling specially imported from America. The interior promotes a ground floor curved bar area, a raised dining area and access to the glass fronted mezzanine dining area via a spiral oak staircase with curved glass.
The lighting is spectacular, with sunken spotlights and theatrical, suspended stage lights, from the ceiling, illuminating tables and creating an intensely dramatic mood. The flooring sourced from Italy, combines earthy tones and adds a fresh, cosmopolitan feel, completing yet another spectacular refit to add to the McGoff & Byrne Ltd's portfolio.
