Bowden Rugby Club

After a huge effort by the club management, Bowden Rugby football club had finally procured the funds necessary to proceed with the development of a new clubhouse, with the assistance of Sport England.

The negotiated traditional contract led to an extensive value engineering exercise being undertaken before the project was able to commence.

The new steel frame brick clad clubhouse stands on 3 meter deep mass fill foundations. The intemal fit out incorporates bar facilities, a superb function room, extensive changing and shower facilities and additional utility areas.

The main function room was designed with the intention of being used as an 18 meter internal archery range, specifically for the “North Cheshire Bowmen” to use. However, the same function room has provided an additional income for the club. An internal marquee disguises the painted block walls and creates an extremely appealing venue. The additional income has allowed the club to expand, further improving it’s financial stability.
